Donnie Ray Bearden, a lifelong resident of Leeds, AL, passed away in his home on Sunday, June 15th, 2025. He was 71 years old. He was survived by his daughter, Cindy Goolsby (Michael), granddaughter, Maddy Goolsby, sister Linda Taylor (Clayton) and a host of other dear family members. After running a flooring installation company for 25 years, he finished his career at M&B Hanger Co. as a machine mechanic. Donnie was an avid NASCAR fan and never missed a Sunday race or Saturday afternoon Alabama football game with his bud Boomer by his side. For years, Donnie was a daily patron at Laney’s restaurant in Leeds and loved the great people he came to know there. Donnie is resting in peace with his mother, Louise Bearden, father, Dan Bearden, and brothers, Wayne and Kenneth Bearden. Viewing will be held at Kilgroe Funeral Home Friday June 20th from 11:00am-12:00pm with services to follow. Donnie will be buried at Cahaba Heights Baptist Church cemetery.
