Doris grew up in Beaver, Pennsylvania and lovingly called it home. She enjoyed traveling and spent lots of time in Pennsylvania during the Fall, her favorite time of year, whenever she could. She also loved gardening, reading, doing crosswords puzzles, listening to music, and watching old movies. Above all, spending time laughing with her family and friends brought her the most joy.
She lived a life very simply but had many treasures in heaven stored up from her lifetime of laughter, love, kindness, and generosity towards everyone. Her heart was in heaven where she is now with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and all her family and friends who have been patiently waiting for her arrival. A sweet reunion indeed. She will be dearly missed by so many and has left behind a lifetime of precious memories.
A private Celebration of Life will be held by the family.
