Mr. Simpkins was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Simpkins, parents, Virgil and Portis Simpkins and brother, Danny Simpkins.
He is survived by his wife, Maschelle K. Newman Simpkins, daughter, Lisa Miller (Jamie Miller), sisters, Jeanette Forsyth, Carol Welch (Tommy Welch), brother, James Youngman, grandchildren, Gauge and Aliyah Miller.
Services will be Monday, May 11, 2015 at 6PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel.
