
age 87, of Leeds, AL passed away January 4, 2015.
She was born in Tallassee, Alabama on December 5, 1927, then moved to Gadsden at the age of six and attended public schools and graduated from Gadsden High School. She then attended and graduated from The University of Montevallo. She was a teacher at Leeds Elementary for two years, before she became a homemaker. She was a member of Leeds Garden Club, Pinebrook Literary Club, Leeds Music Study Club and The Club. Over the years, she enjoyed her time spent with her many bridge buddies. An active member of Leeds Presbyterian Church for over 54 years and still regularly attended prior to her death.
Elizabeth was predeceased in death by her parents Julia Swann Riddle and Andrew Malcolm Wynn, Sr., her husband Trenyon H. Gamble and her brother Andrew Malcolm Wynn, Jr. She is survived by her brother Sydney Riddle Wynn (Jo), her children Mark Hunter Gamble, Katharine Gamble Coats (Andrew) and Forrest Page Gamble (Susan) as well as eight grandchildren.
Graveside services at Forest Crest Cemetery, 5730 US Highway 78, Birmingham at 10am on Wednesday January 7th. The family will be receiving friends at Leeds Presbyterian Church following the graveside service. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Leeds Presbyterian Church.
