I just learned of Liz's passing.  I worked closely with her at CASA and know that she has made a huge positive difference in many lives.  She had a big heart and much passion for children who needed a helping hand.

I learned of Liz passing a few weeks ago.  She was a great teacher. The short time I knew her, I learned so much about quilting from her.  She donated fabric to Hands On Youth Activities Program. Her thoughtfulness will always be remembered.

My deepest condolences are with you and your family during your time of sorrow. Grief is so hard, but special memories will help you cope and as the days and weeks pass and you return to life's routine, you will be comforted by the love and support of family and friends. 

Your hearts will soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. In time, you will cherish the memories forever. God bless you and your family during this time.

Liz and I were friends for too short of time. We struck up a friendship at a fabric counter when she made comment about a baby quilt I was making. We talked what must have been just days before her passing. She was letting me know about the turn of events of her health. Liz was what I call a "salt of the earth" person - the best there is. Her passing has impacted me more than I can say. Our world is poorer for her passing. Godspeed, Liz.

I knew Liz way back in our school days. We both had careers with the Social Security Administration. After retirement she volunteered at Leeds Outreach in the office for several months. She was already working with CASA and helping so many children and families. She always helped Leeds Outreach by sponsoring many children every year for Christmas and donating food to the pantry.  We will miss her!

Michael, I just learned of your moms death.  You know that we were very good friends for many many years. I truly will miss her.  It's is a shame that really good friends grow apart.  But she always knew I loved her.  Micheal I hope you are doing well. I love you. Teresa Marlow Tindle

I had the pleasure of working with your mother each Christmas for five years through CASA. She truly lived out the call to help the least of our brothers. She and I became friends and I looked forward to hearing from her each fall. May she Rest In Peace. Mary-Noel Sellers

My daughter had the honor of working with Liz and she was like a 2nd mother. She always showed such concern for my daughter.  I will never forget the day she came back from lunch and she had stopped by a shop and bought my daughter a new dress.  She came to baby showers and made both my grandaughters beautiful hand-made quilts. I will always remember her for her kindness.  She was such a lovely lady.

Thank you so much for the time and dedication to the children you helped. We had a lot of fun times with our "investigations" and you will always remain dear to my heart! I love you and I will see you on the other side!

Liz did more to help children after she retired than most people do in a lifetime.  She truly made a difference in the lives of children and that is a powerful legacy. Liz was many things to many people, but most importantly to me, she was my friend.  Teresa, you'll be in my prayers.

Liz made a difference in the lives of so many people.  She was committed to helping children with her work with DHR and CASA, and God used her to protect so many.  She was a loyal, caring friend, and I will miss her smile.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Liz during my internship with CASA in 2006 and have been friends with her ever since. She was an incredible leader and friend.

I'm So Sorry to hear about Liz! She was my Very First Supervisor when I came to SSA in February of 1991, 26 Years Ago! She was a Great Manager and I will NEVER Forget Her! May God Bless the Entire Family!
