Wayne and family,
Gerri and I worked together remotely.  We worked closely as a team for a couple of years before she went to the Birmingham office.  We laughed, we cried, we shared our successes and failures but most of all we had a bond of love in the Lord that made us Sisters.  Gerri was my prayer warrior.  Gerri never let the headaches and pain show although many times it was almost unbearable.  She was such a blessing to everyone who knew her.  She was a ray of hope with unwavering faith.  I miss you, my friend.

Wayne. I am truly sorry for you and your family's loss. I worked remote and spoke with Gerri on the telephone regularly. She always came across as a kind and genuine person. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

Dear Wayne and family,  I just heard about the passing of Gerri. I am so sorry for your loss.  I had the pleasure of speaking with Gerry many many times over the past few years through my business with Regions.  Although we never met, I could tell that she was a genuinely caring person and had a charming way about her, and someone that I thought of as a friend.  She will be dearly missed, my condolences to your entire family and her coworkers at Regions.

I have known Gerri for over five years as she was my Regions contact for appraisal ordering and review.  She was always so cheerful and positive all of the time.  I knew I could always call Gerri and recieve nothing but professionalism with a touch of southern hospitality and charm.  I loved her voice and I could tell she had so much compassion, faith and love in her life.  She firmly made me feel part of her Regions' team of appraisers.  I always knew there was much more to Gerri and now learned she was so important to many in her life.  I will miss her dearly and am very sad of her passing.  I'm so sorry the good have to leave this earth so young.  Peace be with all that loved her.

My name is Stefanie and I am the nurse that was with Gerri after the accident.. before the fire department arrived.  I cannot begin to tell you how my heart is breaking and I want you to know that forever she will remain in my heart.  My family lived in Odenville for many years, John and Linda Gipson and I was just visiting Birmingham when the accident occurred.  

Please know that I stayed with Gerri until the ambulance arrived and my heart is so heavy that I could not offer more.

I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. Gerri was a pleasure to work with.  I am an appraiser and spoke with often.  Please know you are in our hearts and prayers and that there are a lot more just like me.

We are an appraisal firm in Seminole Florida and had many, many occasions to work with Gerri.  Our hearts sank and were filled with great sadness as we read the news of her accident. We will continuously pray for peace and comfort for her family.  She will be greatly missed.

I so loved having Gerri here with me on a daily basis.  I miss her fast little pace as she darted back and forth from her office and the way that she'd put her hands on her hips when she was joking.  Please know that we are so lost without her here.

I wanted to express my deepest condolences to you all. Gerri was a very sweet lady who I have had to pleasure to work with for a short time. Gerri was the second smile to greet me when I came to work for Regions in 2004. Gerri's cheery voice brought light to my life many days!  I will miss her and her sweet encouragement. I am so sorry to hear of the news.  Gerri worked for me at Regions for a while and I will always remember her as a sweet lady that was always pleasant.  She always brought a smile with her cheery voice.  Just a fun loving person to be around.  She always talked about family as they were all near and dear to her.  Although we didn't touch base often after the AmSouth merger, I took with me fond memories of her.

wayne i'm so sorry for your loss!  i worked with Gerri in gadsden for a couple of years and even though i did not work directly with her, she was such a fabulous lady. she was so fun to be with and we would talk about her family at lunch. i really enjoyed getting to know her. i will keep your family in my prayers. this is such a tremendous loss. god bless you!!

Wayne and family, Gerri taught me her job when I was hired in 2005 for Regions here in Dallas,TX. We talked and emailed many times.I retired in 2009 instead of moving to Birmingham, but we still visited. She was so dear to me and helpful. You will be in my prayers.

I just heard the news this evening. I'm so sorry. I worked with Gerri remotely from Georgia until my position was relocated; we spoke often. She was a good friend. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Wayne and family,  I worked with Gerri in Gadsden both at Meighan and Broad St. locations of Regions.  She was one of the dearest most precious people I have ever met.  We shared many great times together and lots of praying for each other too.  I will always be grateful that God had our paths to cross at the same place and I will forever cherish the memories that I have.  Remembering you and your family in prayer. Gerri, I am so sorry that you had to leave us so soon, I know that you were not my cousin by blood but it doesn't matter you were still my family, I just wish that I had known you better then I did, you were a terrific person that loved her family very much and god knows your daddy and you were so close and he is going to miss you so bad. Please watch over him and let him know that you are still with him and that it will be ok and he will be fine. Nothing can ever fill the emptyness that your dad is feeling now but bring peace over him and guide him through this, girl I only wish that I could have had the bond with my dad that you and your dad had it was very special and he will never forget that.
