Gwendolyn Whitehead, age 83, of Leeds passed away December 23, 2020 and is preceded in death by her husband; Frank Whitehead, parents; Arlise & Lois Vincent and brother; Billy Vincent. She is survived by her daughter; Allison Kilgore (Jeff) son; Ernest Whitehead (Tiffany), grandchildren; Taylor Hall (Maja), Joshua Hall (Angel), Jordan Barnwell, Carsyn Trammell (Austin), Caley Clark (Jacob), Jackson Whitehead and Ezra Whitehead, great grandchildren; Kylie Barnwell and Loxley Barnwell. Mrs. Whitehead was an member of Leeds First United Methodist Church. Hannah Circle, Castalia Literary Club, Leeds Music Club and Treasurer of the Leeds Arts Council. Services will be held Monday December 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home - Leeds with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday December 27, 2020 from 6-8 at Kilgroe Funeral Home - Leeds. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Leeds Art Council or the First United Methodist Church of Leeds.
