Harbert Harrison Kuykendall

Harbert (Kurt) Harrison Kuykendall, Jr. from Lincoln, AL, passed away July 6, 2014 at 84 years of age. He is survived by his wife Mary Jones Kuykendall, daughters Gwen (Jerry) Vines and Sandra (Karl Brady) Kuykendall, two sons, Harbert (Linda) H. Kuykendall, III and Allen (Patricia) Ennis and 1 sister, Kathryn Kuykendall Rich. He has seven grandchildren, Jacob Knight Vines, Lee Abernathy (Angie), Chris Henderson, Brittany (Anthony) Williams, Thomas (Chrissie) Brady, Sara Brady, Jessica Brady and eight great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers in-law. Mr. Kuykendall served faithfully 26 years as a council member for the City of Lincoln, Al. He was retired from U S Steel in Fairfield, AL and he was a veteran of World War II. Services for Mr. Kuykendall will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, AL. Visiting hours with the family will begin at 10:00 AM and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel (no grave side services will be held).
