Harvey M. Pilkington, age 82 passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at his home in Sterrett, Alabama. He is preceded in death by a son, Richard Pilkington, two sisters, and three brothers. He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Ethylene Pilkington; his son, George Pilkington (Jamie); grandchildren, Nicholas Pilkington (Shelia) and Justin Pilkington; and great grandchild, Trinity Pilkington. Services for Mr. Pilkington will be Saturday, May 25, 2024. The visitation will begin at 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home 1750 Ashville Road Leeds, Alabama 35094. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM in the chapel at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds. Burial will follow at Pleasant Site Baptist Church Cemetery in Sterrett, Alabama. Services will be directed by Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds, Alabama.
