Mr. Engle was a member of MENSA as well as a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church in St. Clair County and a long time attender of Southside Baptist Church. He was a Korean War Veteran of the US Navy and a long time employee of Mid South Electric.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Pearl Engle, sons, David (Lynda) Engle, Victor Engle, Frank (Elaine) Engle, daughter, Lisa Donaldson, sisters, Gayle Buckner (Richard), Jo Stone (Gene), 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 PM until 8 PM on Friday, January 6, 2012 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 11 AM at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
