He is survived by his wife, Bettye Sims; daughter, Susan Hall (Ehon);
sons, Phillip Sims (Chris), Alan Sims; brother, Robert W Sims; 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
He enjoyed photography, woodworking, visiting with friends, and was a master gardener.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 6PM until 8PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 22, 2016 at 11AM at Kilgroe Leeds Chapel with burial at Bold Springs Cemetery.
