James Arnold Tibbs

Mr. Tibbs served in the Army, was retired from United Chair. He was preceded

in death by his parents, A. B. and Maude Tibbs, his brother, Jerry B. Tibbs.

He is survived by his wife, Clara; sons, Jim (Mary) and David (Starr), and a

very special daughter, Carly B. Lucas. Grandchildren Kyle (Samantha),

Kayla Strapler (Chris). Great grandchildren, Zoe and Sadie. Brothers,

Terry, Tommy, Justin and Carlon Tibbs; sisters, June Smith, Loretta Morgan,

Dean Caswell, Sara Fuller, Robbie Tibbs and Sheila Tolbert.

Services will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at New Lebanon Baptist

Church at 169 New Lebanon Road, Springville, AL at 2PM. He will lie in state

at the Church from 1PM to 2PM.

Brother Jim Smith and Brother Rick Hinkle will Officiate. Special music by

Ms. Deloris Gould.

Pallbearers are fellow Deacons of the Church and Burial will be at New Lebanon

Cemetery.
