He is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Gail Mills.
He is survived by his wife,Laurie Dawkins, since 2015 but have been together for 27 years; sister, Christina Buckley (Brian); brothers, Kenneth David Szcerba (Valerie) and Dwayne Shrader (Jennifer); nieces, Celestia, Amanda, Destiny, Donna Jean and Brianna; nephews, Dane, Lelan and James.
