Jill was born on 5/30/77 and lived her younger years in the Huffman area of Birmingham where she graduated from Cathedral of the Cross High School. She continued her life living in and around the Birmingham area and in the Tampa, FL area where she was in school studying Social Work at the University of South Florida.
Jill lived her life to the fullest and with courage despite a handicap that was with her from birth. She was a “people” person who never met a stranger and loved to sing when and wherever she got the chance. Independent to a fault, she would hardly ever ask for help unless it was an absolute impossibility for her, even as far as bearing two beautiful baby boys through high risk pregnancies. She was a constant source of pride to her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, J. T. and Peggy Driskill and James M. and Mildred Fulton Yarbrough. She leaves behind her truly loving husband, Terry, her precious boys, Noah (5), and Patrick (11 mos) and step-daughter, Zoe Alford (10); her parents, Terry Yarbrough (Janie) and Janet D.Yarbrough, and her sister, Erin Lane Yarbrough. Other survivors include many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as numerous devoted friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home - Leeds Chapel.
