John E Johnson

John E. "Johnny" Johnson 79, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed from this earthly life on February 25, 2017. He is preceded in death by his son, Gentry Jordan. He is survived by his wife, Gayle Johnson, children, Theresa Moore, Cameron Jordan (Melissa), grandchildren, Meagan Findlay (Scott), Skyler Jordan, Jacob Jordan, Jessica Roberts (Case), Josh Moore (Jessica), great grandchildren, Adilyn, Easton & Rylen Findlay, Anniston Roberts, special sister in law Judy Gachet (Tom) and a host of extended family.

Johnny was a man who loved his family dearly especially his grand-babies. He was a faithful member of Leeds First Baptist Church were he was affectionately known as "the candy man." Johnny's love for automobiles was evident in his love for NASCAR and BIR as well as his 40 year career in the car sales industry. His passion for the last 10 years has been the Moody Miracle League where on any given Saturday you could find him at the ball field.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in his name to the Moody Miracle League.

Visitation - Tuesday, February 28, 2017, 5-8pm at Leeds First Baptist Church, Funeral Service - Wednesday, March 1, 2017, 11am at Leeds First Baptist. Graveside to follow at Shiloh Cemetery.
