He is survived by his wife, Melody; two sons, Christopher and Jack, one daughter Angela, two grandchildren, Ashlee and Ben; one brother, William, and one sister, Elizabeth. A celebration of John’s life was held on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 11:00 am at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with burial at Union Hill First Baptist Cemetery in Vandiver.
