

Kenneth Alan Lawler was born on June 23, 1961, in Birmingham, Alabama, and passed away peacefully at his home in Moody, Alabama, on January 5, 2026.
Alan was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and family man. He is survived by his loving wife, Paula Lawler; his mother, Mary Lawler; his brother, David Lawler (Lori); his son, Brad Lawler (Linda); his granddaughters, Kaylie and Laci Lovell; his great-granddaughter, Kennedy Schaffner; and his stepchildren, Todd Schaffner and Jennifer Schaffner.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Britni Lawler, and his father, Kenneth A. Lawler.
Alan dedicated 38 years of service to the United States Postal Service, and 9 years in the United States Army while demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment throughout his career. He was a devoted Auburn fan and proudly supported his team. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf and watching sports, especially when shared with family and friends.
Alan will be remembered for his dedication, loyalty, and love for his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, AL beginning at 2:00PM.
