Kim was born in Birmingham, AL December 11, 1961. She graduated from Erwin High School in Birmingham, AL. She is a member of the class of 1980. She excelled as an “A” student and as a member of the Erwinettes.
Kim was a member of New Life Baptist Church for 33 years. She faithfully served in the King’s Kids Ministry and Children’s Ministry for over twenty years. She was passionate about showing each child the love of Christ.
While Kim never cared to be in the spotlight, her main ministry was praying passionately for each person she loved. If she told you she was praying for you, your name was on her daily prayer list. Her last couple of years of life were spent praying for her family, church, and grandkids.
To know Kim was to know a powerful prayer warrior who generously gave of herself. She lived each day striving to honor God and finding ways she could bless people.
While our hearts ache here on earth, we know her faith has now become sight. She has come face to face with her Lord and Savior and she has crowns to cast. We can only imagine the reunion she is having with Him. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all that love her.
The family will receive friends and family during visitation at 1:00 PM with a celebration of Kim’s life following at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 25th at New Life Baptist Church in Odenville AL.
