She was preceded in death by her husband Charles B. Meade, sisters, Jewell Taylor and Mary Frances Treadwell, brothers, Henry Ford Taylor and Floyd Edsel Taylor.
She is survived by her daughters, Vicki Meade Tinney (Larry) and Sharon Ann Woods (Robert), grandchildren, Brandon Meade Tinney (Amanda) and Tammy Lynne Scroggins (Buddy), five great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
She was a member of Moody United Methodist Church and The Seekers Sunday School Class.
Special thanks to her caregiver Shelia Mashburn and to the nurses of Hope Hospice for their loving care.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Moody United Methodist Church, Moody, AL.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.
Graveside Services will be at 3:30 PM on Sunday at Moody Cemetery.
