Mae Chasteen Isbell, age 78, of Leeds, Alabama passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023. Mae is preceded in death by her son, Matthew Earl Isbell. Mae is survived by her husband of 59 years Millerd Earl Isbell; daughter, Christi Joy Isbell Josey; grandchildren, Mary Grace Isbell, Zach Isbell, Hudson Isbell and Blaine Steven Weems; sisters, Billie Jean Pruett and Mary Elizabeth Little; brothers, Donald Chasteen and James Nolan Chasteen. A visitation will be held on Wednesday November 15th 2023 from 10:00-11:00 AM from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00AM. Burial will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Mae was a devoted mother, sister, and wife. She was an excellent cook who loved reading her bible and sewing quilts.
