Mrs. Simmons was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Simmons.
She is survived by her sons, Ronnie Simmons, Barry (Dawn) Simmons, Randy (Brenda) Simmons; sister, Shirley (Norvin) Eubank; nieces and nephews including special niece, Joanne (Eddy) Moseley; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and of host of relatives and friends.
She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
Her memorial service will be at Kilgroe Leeds on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 11AM with visitation one hour prior to service and burial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Trussville.
