Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, that we still are. Call me by my old familiar name. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference in your tone. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play,smile,think of me. Pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effect. Without the trace of a shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant. it is the same that it ever was. There is absolute unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind, because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval. Somewhere very near. Just around the corner. All is well. Henry Scott Holland

I will really miss Nell.  She was such an inspiration; always friendly and outgoing.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.  Jeanette & Eugene Houts and family.

You have been my mawmaw for 15 years, over the past 8 years my children and I have gotten the honor to live right next door to you and not only were you my mawmaw but my best friend. You always had any kind of advice I needed wether I wanted to hear it or not :) but, I always managed to listen and do what you thought was best. You mean so much to all of us my Logan adored u as his great grandmother and mckenzie and McKenley too. You were their world. Thank you for making such a wonderful impact on my life. Life will never be the same without u here on earth. But, I know u r rejoicing with our Heavenly father. Until we meet again love always..

No words can express what this lady was to the world. I never even considered her not being here one day,don't know why, just didn't. She will never be gone because of all she gave here.She will always hold a place in my heart and be loved.

Mama Nell was a mother to so many of us in various ways.  It was like she could see right into your heart and understood. Last night one of her sons relayed the comment "it was like she was a cheerleader" and it made my jaw drop because I had just said to my husband the evening before that I had just lost my Mama...my friend...and my cheerleader who believed in me with all her heart.  Thank you Mama Nell I will love you always.

I always loved talking to Mrs. Nell, she always would ask about my day and how mom was doing. She truly loved everyone and showed it!! She will be missed!

Wow, Nell was really "one of a kind".  She will be missed by so many, but we will carry memories of her always.  Her smile has left a mark on our hearts.

Miss Nell will be missed greatly by me and my family. I love you Miss Nell, R.I.P.

I loved to see Ms Nell,i remember her from back when i was a kid and she always had something sweet to say and was so concerned about how everyone was doing.I will miss her dearly!

Such a precious lady... I first met her in 1984 when I was just 15 years old. She took me in as if I were one of her own. Even in the years to come and circumstances changed, she and I still told everyone, "We would always be Mother and Daughter in law". Even though I didn't get to see her very often, it was such a comfort knowing she was there. I guess my comfort now will be knowing I will see her again when I go to be with her in Heaven. I love you dearly "Momma Nell".

I honestly feel blessed to have been a part of her life and for her to be such a special part of mine for so long.I'm going to miss her so much. Even though I didn't get to see her much, it was great knowing she was there. Now I can find comfort in knowing when it's my time to go, it will be great again, knowing she is there.  I love you Momma Nell.
