Ruby Ayres McCulley

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Rosa Ayres, her husband, Norman Dale McCulley, and her brother Johnny Ayres.

She is survived by her sister, Peggy Lawler; children Teresa Meissner (Dan), Brant McCulley (Dawn) and Cheryl Fowler; grandchildren Tara Rachels, Rudy Fowler, Peyton Fowler, Hayden Fowler, Ivy McCulley Honeycutt (Chris), Mallory Meissner (Bryce Noel), Matt Meissner (Brooke) and Leigh Allen; brother-in law Robert “Pug” McCulley (Suzanne), sister-in-law Reba McCulley (Rick Hood); and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and other relatives.

She was a loving wife and homemaker, as well as a wonderful “Memaw” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, January 20, at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, with a graveside service following at 2 p.m. in the adjacent Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brant McCulley, Dan Meissner, Matt Meissner, Bryce Noel, Mason Roy, Terry Weems, and junior pallbearer Cody Edwards.
