Sidney Lynn Milner

Sidney Lynn Milner gained his 1st class ticket to Heaven Monday, July 19,2021. Sidney was a great and loving husband to Karen McCarthey Milner, son to Bobby and Diana W. Milner, brother to Dana Teems (Jeff), father to Deanna Milner Goff(Austin), Jake (aka Coty) Milner, Logan Milner, the greatest “Pappy” to Hadley and Wyatt Goff, an uncle, a cousin to many, especially to Earl Patterson Jr.,whom Sidney loved like his brother, a nephew, and an ultimate friend to countless people because he knew no strangers. Sidney graduated from Leeds High School in 1986. He was employed with Tri-County Air and also a window clerk (Pell City and Moody) 11 years for USPS until 2017 when he retired due to brain cancer. Sidney never gave up and was a warrior till the end and now he is a Survivor in God’s kingdom of Heaven walking the streets of gold.Sidney will be remembered for his million dollar smile, his sparkling blue eyes that lit up the room, his Infectious ability to giggle even through his pain and anxiety and his many talents that God blessed him with to make others smile and help others in their time of need. Sidney was also a God fearing man who loved the Lord. In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made to Sidney’s church building fund. Sidney will always be missed, loved, remembered and never forgotten.
