Sunny F Moore

Sunny Fay was a loving sister, aunt and friend. Sunny Fay was born in Sylacauga, Alabama on September 14, 1950. She left this world on August 18, 2023, at the age of 72. She is survived by her beloved family; brother, Corey B. (Kathy) Moore of Birmingham, Alabama; two nephews, Judson (Caitlin) Moore and William Moore and care givers, Sylvia Cox and Lisa Funderburg. She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie Fay and Otis H. (Sonny) Moore of Sterrett, Alabama.

Sunny Fay graduated from Vincent High School and the University of Montevallo. She was an educator in the Pell City School System 39 years. She was music director at Beulah Baptist Church over 20 years.

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, August 22, from 1:00pm –2:00pm at Beulah Baptist Church in Sterrett, Alabama. Funeral services will be held on August 22, 2023 at Beulah Baptist Church in Sterrett beginning at 2:00pm Rev. Brandon Fomby and Rev. Russell Gooden officiating. Interment immediately following in Sterrett Cemetery. Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds, Alabama to direct service.
