Violet Beavers

Violet was born on August 27, 1952, in Pell City, Alabama, to Enza Belle and Raymond Watlington Sr. She was known for keeping family and friends connected and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Violet graduated from Pell City High School in 1970 and dedicated her life to caring for her family. She loved taking photographs, working on craft projects, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Violet is survived by her husband of 53 years, Wayne Beavers; her daughter, Jill Cutrer; and her son, Kevin Beavers (Crystal). She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Sophie Noel Cutrer, Karli Nicole Cutrer, and Wyatt Keith Beavers; brothers Roy Watlington (Lois) and Perry Watlington (Glynis); sisters Mary Turner and Margie Watlington; and her beloved twin sister, Rose Brigham (John), along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Adam Keith Beavers; her parents, Enza Belle and Raymond Watlington Sr.; her sister, Betty Clements; and her brother, Raymond Watlington Jr.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds from 5:00PM until 7:00PM. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at St. Clair Memorial Gardens beginning at 12 noon.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation or St. Jude's.
