William M. Bass "Bill", age 93, of Moody, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. Bill served his country by enlisting in the Air Force from 1950 to 1954. He was a graduate of Jacksonville St., class of 1957, retired from Alabama Power Company in 1989 after 32 years of service and was a board member to the APCO Employee Credit Union for 40 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ona Bass and brother, LaRue Bass.
Bill is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jean Bass; sons, Terry A. Bass (Michelle) and Greg N. Bass.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Kilgroe Funeral Home from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Kilgroe Funeral Home beginning at 11:00AM with a graveside service to follow at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo beginning at 2:00PM.
