William Vernon Grund "Sonny"

Sonny was a Master Mason in good standing and a member of Leeds Lodge NO 446. He has been a member of Cullman Church of God since he was 12 years old. Sonny was a long time employee of Precision Husky and was currently employed by Alabama Auto Auction. He loved fishing so much that regularly dreamed about it.

Sonny is survived by his wife, Jerry Grund; daughter, Melinda Grund McDuff (David); sons: Tony Grund & Kenneth Grund; sisters: Edna Grund, Elizabeth Grund Adair, Alma Grund Tennyson, Viola Jett, & Clara Griffin; brothers: Alfred Grund, Hurshel Worthington, Kingsford Worthington, & William Worthington; grandchildren: Nancy Mason, Kent Mason, Jimmy Grund (Katie), & Natalie Grund; great grandchildren: Tristin Grund, Camden Grund, Jaxon Grund, Kaydence May; & Brookelyn Headley.

Funeral Services will be Monday, May 20, 2013 at 11 AM at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 6 PM until 8 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds. Burial will be in Forest Crest Cemetery.
