Charles Charlie "Charlie" Emerson III

Celebration of Life services for Charles “Charlie” Emerson III, 18, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 23, 2012, at the East Leesville Baptist Church of Leesville, LA, with Bro. Millard Monk and Bro. Jerry Twyman officiating under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home, Leesville, LA. The family will be receiving friends for visitation Friday, June 22, 2012, from the hours of 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at East Leesville Baptist Church, Leesville, LA with visitation to resume Saturday, June 23, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Cooper Cemetery in Pickering, LA.

Charlie was born June 11, 1994, in DeRidder, LA, to Charles “Chipmunk” and Amanda Hollis Emerson, Jr., and was pulled early from this life following a tragic accident June 19, 2012, in Simpson, LA. HE was a member of Oak Forest Baptist Church. Charlie loved all sports, 4 wheeler riding, good friends and family. He never met a stranger, never made an enemy. Charlie loved to sing and will be loved and cherished by all.

Left to cherish the many blessed memories Charlie leaves behind will be his parents; twin sister; Whitley Emerson, one brother; Dillin Emerson, a nephew on the way, along with many extended family members and numerous great friends.
