Elaine Sumrall Deason

Services celebrating the life of Elaine Sumrall Deason, 58, of Pitkin will be held Thursday, August 8, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at Marlow Baptist Church in Pitkin, LA. Bro. Gregory Hillman and Bro. Joey Rudisill will be officiating. Pallbearers will be provided by the VPSO. Services are under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home in Leesville.

Elaine was born March 3, 1955 in Amite, LA to Oliver and Yvonne Sumrall and passed from this life on August 5, 2013.

Elaine is survived by her husband: Michael Lynn Deason, of Pitkin, LA; parents: Oliver and Yvonne Sumrall; sons: Jerry Lynn Deason and Bradley Wayne Deason and wife, Kristine all of Pitkin, LA; five grandchildren; sister: Linda Cathleen Scott and husband, Tom, of Chicago, IL; brothers: Robert Wayne Sumrall of Leesville, LA, James Oliver Sumrall and wife, Rhonda, of Pitkin, LA and Michael David Sumrall of Kinder, LA.
