Adriane Crenshaw passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday, December 15, 2014. She was born in Charleston Illinois, where she married Roy Crenshaw and lived a respectable life, enjoying her many close friends. She moved to Lemon Grove, CA in 1981because she longed for the year-round beautiful weather and sunshine. She became a realtor and after she finished raising her children, she became a foster parent and parented many children over the years. She gave to everybody with a generous heart, offering a well-structured; loving home that was always open to all. She was truly cherished by everybody who came into contact with her. She made a difference in people’s lives just by being herself, and love truly returned to her 100-fold. She embraced her identity as mother and grandmother, and her children, whether natural, adopted, or foster, were her life. Her children, Johanna Valentine, Jennifer Duvall, Jacqueline Riggins, and Douglas Crenshaw will miss her. Her grandchildren are John, Katie, and Beth Valentine, Mary Crenshaw, Craig and Sam Sharp, Michael Crenshaw, and Jamie, Daniel and Ian Hayes. She is also survived by her beloved sister Lou Harmon.
