Chie M. Cron

Chie Mihata Cron was born September 19, 1933 in Amori Ken, Japan. She was the daughter of Kichijirou and Yoshino Mihata and was the eldest of five siblings. She had two sisters, Satsu and Kioko and two brothers, Teigi and Koetu.

In her early twenties, Chie met William Cron while he was stationed in the Army in Japan. They fell in love and were married on July 18, 1956. Her husband William passed away in 2007. She was a member of the New Life Center in El Cajon since 1973. Chie became a U.S. Citizen on January 15, 1993. She worked for Scandavalve in Mission Valley and retired in 1995.

Chie leaves behind five sons James and Larry who reside in San Diego. Robert and William reside in Colorado and John resides in Kentucky. She has 11 grandchildren: Natalie, Robert Jr., Tyler, Jessica, Lance, Nichole, Chad, Derek, Nathan, Justin and Philip. She also had 11 great-grandchildren: Leila, Shelby, Lily, Olivia, Juliet, Elijah, Shiloh, Bently, Taylee, Adilynn and Liam.

The viewing for Chie Cron will be held on Thursday, April 11th from 4:00-7:00 pm at Conrad Lemon Grove Mortuary, 7387 Broadway, Lemon Grove, CA 91945. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, April 12th at 9:00 am at the New Life Center,1448 Peach Avenue, El Cajon, CA 92021. Burial Service will follow at approximately 11am at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 3751 Market Street, San Diego, CA 92102.

Chie was much loved and will be deeply missed.
