Dorothy M. Gill

In 1938, Dorothy’s family moved from South Dakota to Arnold, Nebraska. She spent her childhood in Arnold, and graduated from high school there in 1949. In the same year, she married Norris B. Gill and moved with him to San Diego, California, where she and Norris raised three children.

Dorothy loved the Lord as she accepted Christ as her savior at the age of twelve and served Him faithfully the rest of her life. She was active in the Nazarene church.

Dorothy also loved her husband and her family. She called her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren her joy.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her father, Gerrit, and her brother, Gerald. She is survived by her husband, Norris, her children Raymond, Ronald and Rhonda, her sisters Ruth, Muriel, and Janette, her brothers Melvin and Larry, and her mother Miriam. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
