Flory Ramirez, age 85, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday May 11, 2019. Flory was born August 28, 1933 in Costa Rica to Hortensia and Federico Loaiza. She was married to Edwin Anthony Ramirez.
Flory spent most of her time doing what was most important to her – spending time with family. When she wasn’t out with her family or at church, you could find her reading and studying her Bible, singing and worshipping God, crocheting, knitting blankets making hats and socks, baby sweaters and baby booties. Always young at heart, you could never catch her without a pair of her favorite high heels and a purse to match. she enjoyed lunch dates at the Olive Garden restaurant.
Flory is survived by her 4 children –Emily Raymer, Patricia Garcia, Raul Ramirez, Michael Ramirez – as well as her 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Flory was preceded in death by; father Federico Loaiza and mother Hortensia Loaiza.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 10am, Conrad Lemon Grove Mortuary, 7387 Broadway, Lemon Grove, CA 91945 with a Reception to follow.
