Joe spent his early child hood enjoying adventures on his Grandparents' homestead but eventually made his way to California with his parents to live in Lemon Grove.
Joe enjoyed many past times but as a young man he loved to water ski and ran his own automotive shop.
One day while working at his shop, he met his wife to be, Brenda, whom he married and had two children, Amber and Casey.
Joe enjoyed raising his daughters with wife Brenda but loved being a Grandpa even more. He would often say that his Granddaughters Sophia, Scarlett and Sage were the joys of his life.
He loved the Grandfather duties such as building swing sets, putting together toys and spoiling his Granddaughters.
Joe was known as a fair and hard working man. He had a knack for repairing even the most complex mechanical items. He loved working as a Property Maintenance Employee for a large apartment complex located in Chula Vista.
After a month battle of various medical issues, Joe passed away peacefully on Monday, March 24, 2014, with his wife Brenda by his side.
Joe will be missed more than any words could ever express. His family takes solace knowing that he is now resting peacefully in paradise.
Joe is survived by his wife Brenda Barta, daughters Casey Barta & Amber Saldivar (Rick Saldivar) and Granddaughters Sophia Rose Guerrero (Casey Barta), Scarlett Dellarae Saldivar (Amber & Rick Saldivar) and Makenzie Sage Saldivar (Amber & Rick Saldivar).
