Anthony Greene

Anthony Greene, age 55 passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025. at his residence. Mr. Greene was born October 25, 1969 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Bill Hager and the late MIchelle Greene Hager. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Elena Hager.

Anthony was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved his family with all his heart. He is a proud Veteran of the United States Army and worked as a truck driver for many years.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Jeannie Malone Greene of the home, his sons, Christopher James Dishman and fiance Kathryn Eller of Lenoir, Brandon Lee Dishman and wife Nikki of Stanley, daughters, Brittney Malone and fiance Russell Franklin of Hickory, Megan Bailey of Charleston, WV, brothers Dallas Watts of London, Ohio, Tim Logan and Chris Laney of Lenoir.

Also surviving are his beloved grandchildren, Braxton Williams, Levi Dishman, Harley Janvrin, Kennedy Bailey, Sawyer Dishman and Rex Dishman and one more on the way (Wyatt Luke Dishman) a special aunt and uncle, Penny and Joey Stanley, two cousins, Anthony and Andy Stanley, and a nephew Cory Malone.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home with Rev. James Wilfong officiating. the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 1:45 pm until 2:45 pm at Pendry's Funeral Home.
