Betty Ann McCrary, 66, of Caldwell County, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Hickory Falls Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Granite Falls.

Born in Burke County, she was the daughter of the late Banks M McCrary and Ruby Shell McCrary.

Betty was a devoted employee at Bernhardt Corporate Office for 35 years and graduated from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute with an Associates Degree in Library Science in 1974.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Louise McCrary and cousins, Brenda Bentley, Bob Benfield, Tom Watson, Dennis Greene, Dermont Greene, Shirley Pless and Sylvia Michael.

A funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Robbins officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm.

Memorials may be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative, 902 Kirkwood St NW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
