Casey Shaun Wilcox

Casey Shaun Wilcox, age 37, of Hudson, was found deceased unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, leaving a hole in his loved ones' lives that can never be filled. He was born on March 30, 1988, in Caldwell County to Leslie Wilcox.

Casey was truly one of a kind — a selfless soul who always put others before himself. Whether you knew him as a family member, friend, neighbor, or even just crossed paths with him briefly, you likely felt his warmth, his generosity, and his unwavering kindness. He had a gift for making people feel seen, heard, and loved.

No matter what life threw at him, Casey met every moment with strength, humor, and an open heart. He was the first to lend a helping hand, offer words of encouragement, or simply be there when someone needed him most. That’s just who Casey was — someone who gave his all without ever asking for anything in return.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Serenity Erica Grace Wilcox, his Paw Paw Jerry Dale Wilcox, and his father-in-law Eric Todd Henderson.

Left to cherish Casey's memory are his wife Brooklyn Wilcox, his mother Leslie Colvin, his pops Larry Dewayne Colvin, his brother Christopher Wilcox, his niece Kaitlyn Wilcox, his nephew Oryan Wilcox, his grandmother Sylvia Crump, his uncle Jeff Wilcox, mother-in-law Angela Allen Lail, his brothers-in-law Eric Steven Henderson and Ryan Shawn Henderson, his niece Trystah Elaine Henderson, his niece Erica Leanne Henderson, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home, 522 Wilkesboro Blvd. SE, Lenoir, NC 28645.

Casey is terribly missed — by his family, his friends, and everyone lucky enough to have known him. His absence is felt deeply every day, but we take comfort in the impact he made while he was with us.

Rest easy, Casey. Your light lives on in all of us. ️
