Mr. Hampton was born on June 27, 1943 in Glen White W.Va. to Mary M. Lakey Hampton and the late Romy Hampton.
A funeral service for Mr. Hampton will be held Friday, April 22, 2011 at Pendry’s Chapel at 2:00 pm with Reverend Jack Moses and Speaker Bobby Brooks officiating. Interment will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the service.
