She was born December 4, 1964 in Catawba County to Gary Griffin and Johnnie Roberts Hinson.
Mrs. Hawley is survived by her husband, Mr. Willard Hawley; sons, Chris Barber and wife Sarah of Corpus Christi, Texas and David Barber of Hickory; daughter, Belinda Holman of Lenoir; brothers, Gary “Sonny” Griffin and wife Donna of Conover, and Casey Hinson of Granite Falls; sister, Marie Coleman of Lenoir; and grandchildren, Jesse Bentley, Brian Sumpter, Allie Sumpter, Catlyn Gose, Hayley Gose, Trip Rash, Madison Rotenberry, and Evan Barber.
The family will hold a private service for Mrs. Hawley.
