Jerry Glenn Clement

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Clement.

Jerry worked for numerous years for various trucking companies as a diesel mechanic and a trailer mechanic. He served his community as a fireman for Little River Fire Department, his duties included, but were not limited to: Fire Chief, Training Officer, Fire Truck Mechanic and President of the Board. He enjoyed muscle cars, drag racing and wood working. His avid love of cooking led him to an opportunity to obtain his Associates of Applied Science in Culinary Arts.

A receiving of friends will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 53 years, Rita Hodges Clement of the home, his son Jeremy Clement and wife Melissa of Jacksonville, NC, daughter, Lori Clement of Oak Hill, grandchildren, Amber Witz and husband Patrick, Matthew Clement, Gavin Clement, Emma Clement, great-grandchild, Hayden Witz, his siblings, Linda McGee and husband Donnie, Paul

Clement and wife Margaret, Carol Snider, and Sherry Stewart and husband Larry.
