Jerry Matheson Harless

Mr. Harless was born in Caldwell County, NC to the late Andrew Jackson Harless and Estelle Throneburg Harless. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Harless.

He was a member of Lenoir Community Church. Mr. Harless served in the National Guard and was a former law enforcement officer and furniture worker.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Harless of the home, one son, Aaron Harless; two daughters, Tammie Harless Holden and April Harless Baker, both of Lenoir; two sisters, Helen Harless Allen of Charlotte, NC and Brenda Harless Suddreth of Lenoir, NC; five grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at Lenoir Community Church on Monday, December 13, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Robert Parmley officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Lenoir. The family will receive friends at Lenoir Community Church prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m.

The family requests that memorials be made to Lenoir Community Church , 1002 Lower Creek Drive NW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
