Jewel Meester Luebke

Mrs. Luebke was born in Patterson, NJ to the late Everett Meester and Henrietta Bohlander Meester. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Fredrick Luebke, Jr. and brothers, Dave and Jacob Meester.

She was a retired nurse from Good Samaritan Hospital in New York and a member of Hudson United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her sons, Edward Luebke of Pineville, LA and Ken Luebke of Lenoir; her daughters, Jewel Saunders and husband Donnie of Hudson and Donna Luebke Yount of Newton; sisters, Helen Abbink and Elizabeth Zabriski; grandchildren, Christopher Luebke, Tara Nazario-Snide, Walter Brameld, IV, Michael Brameld, Jill Brameld, Joshua Saunders and Jeremy Saunders; great grandchildren Angelina Nazario and Penelope Saunders.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Pendry’s Chapel with Dr. Tim Brittain officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday at Pendry’s
