Larry Wayne Huffman

Mr. Huffman was born in Catawba County to the late Ben Frank Huffman and Nezzie Rhoney Huffman. He was retired from Sears, a proud veteran of the US Army and a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity of Western Carolina University.

Survivors include his loving wife, Rene’ Huffman of the home; his daughter, Theia McRary of Hickory; his sister, Julia English and her husband Eddie of Vale; a niece, Kara English of Charlotte and nephew, Cody English of Vale.

A memorial service with military rites will be held Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Reverend Eric Lane officiating. The family will have an informal visitation with family and friends prior to the service at the church from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that memorials be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Building Fund, 4948 Burns Road, Granite Falls, NC 28630
