

Born March 11, 1917 in Watauga County, she was the daughter of the late James Edward Bradshaw and Effie Laura Jane Trexler Bradshaw.
Mrs. Bolick was a graduate of Happy Valley High School and was a homemaker. She was a lifelong active member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church of Lenoir, where she was the church organist for 73 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Homer Jethro Bolick, a brother, Virgil Bradshaw, and a sister Marie Bradshaw.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Leonard and Rita Bolick, of Salisbury, North Carolina; one grandson and his wife, Joseph and Sarah of Charleston, South Carolina; one granddaughter, Sarah of Baltimore, Maryland; and two brothers, Clifford Bradshaw and Charles Bradshaw, both of Lenoir, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 6, 2012 from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM at Pendry’s Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Don Just officiating.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church at 2:00 PM. The church is located on Hwy. 321, two miles south of Blowing Rock, NC.
Serving as pallbearers will be Errol Bradshaw, Richard Bradshaw, Garry Bradshaw, Douglas Bradshaw, Michael Bradshaw, Glenn Bolick, Danny Bolick and Boyd Bolick. Honorary pallbearers will be Stewart Abee, Marcus Bolick, Jr., James Bradshaw, Dell Bolick, Rodney Bolick and Gordon Bolick.
