Nellie Mae Triplett Lowman, 78, of Granite Falls, went home to be with the Lord on June 24, 2012 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital.
Born August 11, 1933 in Watauga County, she was the daughter of the late Amos Triplett and Texie Andrew Triplett. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lowman was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Lowman, and her brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Lowman was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitnel and worked as a cashier in the grocery industry.
The funeral service honoring Mrs. Lowman’s life will be held at First Baptist Church of Whitnel on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Stuart White will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
