Odessa was loved by many and will be missed by all.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, William Sloan, Johnny Sloan, and Houston Sloan; and sister, Bertha Mae Michaux.
Those left to cherish her memory include husband, Adrian Harper; stepsons, Adrian Harper, Jr., and Adam Harper; brothers, Jacob Sloan (Nan), Charles Sloan, and Ernest Sloan (Irmgard); sister, Thelma Sloan (Kenneth); and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A funeral service celebrating her life will be on Saturday, January 28, 2017, 2:00 pm, at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home with Minister Jonathan Sloan, Pastor Mike Sloan, and Pastor George Logan officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service.
Interment will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
