Philip Robbins Jackson

Born on July 25, 1950, in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of the late Wilford “Wick” Jackson and Kathryn Robbins Jackson. He attended New Mexico Military Academy, Roswell, NM, graduated from Poway High School, Poway, CA and the University of California Northridge, CA. He was a master carpenter/building contractor—a fortunate man who was loved by his family, lived life as he wanted and made friends everywhere he went.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Kathleen Nakaidinae Jackson of the home; one son, Andrew T. Jackson (Heather), one grandson, Alexander T. Jackson; one brother Stephen L. Jackson of Ranger, Texas; Aunts Margaret “Peg” Robbins of Hudson, Carolyn Sigmon (Darrell) of Hickory, and several cousins in North and South Carolina.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Belleview Cemetery, conducted by the Reverend Stephen M. Austin and the Reverend Gurney Robbins. The family will receive friends at United Presbyterian Church, 415 Pennell Street NW, Lenoir, NC from 3 to 4pm.
