Robert Allen Wheatcraft Sr.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death his brother Dale Wheatcraft.

Left to cherish Bob's memory are his loving wife of 53 years Darlena Wheatcraft, his son Robert Wheatcraft, Jr. (wife Brenda), his daughter Laura Patrick (husband Tim), his sisters Grace Gibson and June Morris, his brother John Wheatcraft (wife Andrea), and several nieces and nephews.

Bob was a minister, a singer, and an evangelist. Everywhere he went, he preached the Word of God. He had a degree from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute in Autobody, which he achieved at age 55. He loved working on cars, especially his beloved 1968 Plymouth Fury II.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home, 522 Wilkesboro Blvd Se, Lenoir, NC 28645

A funeral service for Robert will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Earl Godfrey. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
