Torrence "Terry" Lynn Benfield

Mr. Benfield was born in Caldwell County to Mildred Hice Brown of Lenoir and the late Jack Cline Benfield. He was employed with Murray Supply Pipe Company and was a volunteer for 9 years with North Catawba Optimist Club.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Melinda Duggins Benfield of the home; his children Ethan and Ashley Benfield of the home; his step-father, Doug Brown; his brothers, Chris Benfield and wife Regina of Lenoir, and David Benfield of Lenoir; his sister, Teresia Dillard and husband Travis of Lenoir.

Services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Pendry’s Chapel with Reverend Ken Atkins officiating. Burial will follow at North Catawba Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home prior to the service Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Dillard, Eric South, Mark Minton, Clinton Greene, Mark Watson, David Marshall, Jeremiah Marshall and Paul Jones.
